Millions of farmers in the developing world produce the food that we buy, but many do not earn enough to feed their children or send them to school. Poverty and environmental degradation are intimately linked.  This year of pandemic has exposed how interconnected we are globally and how important it is to raise living standards across the world and  support sustainable and regenerative farming methods.  Buying Fairtrade and supporting the Fairtrade Foundation helps to create a better world for us all, by raising living standards, training communities in mitigating the effects of climate change and insisting on farming methods with high conservation standards.
