At the end of 2014, we (Jill Vescovi, Charlotte Delaney, Angela Dingle and Loretta Munden) decided to take up a running challenge and entered the Great North Run.  Sadly, shortly after, we heard that Fiona Hastings, a former colleague of one of our husband's, had died aged only 26 from bile duct cancer.  We decided to raise money to support The Christie, together with another local charity we were already supporting.  The money we raise for The Christie will go towards Fiona's tribute fund to help refurbish the conservatory at The Christie and to have a tribute leaf on the Tree of Hope in the main reception at The Christie.
