3 Peaks Challenge 2013 · 5 September 2013 to 6 September 2013 ·

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 5th and 6th of September I took part in the Three Peaks Challenge, this consisted of climbing three mountains in the UK: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon totalling a distance of around 28 miles.

This challenge was extremely tough due to a number of factors: little food, water, sleep, rest and tough weather conditions!

During and after the second mountain - Scafell Pike, I began to feel very weak and sick due to the extreme conditions and lack of eating, but thankfully after being motivated by my team, I decided to take some painkillers and soldier through the third mountain.

I am very pleased I managed to complete this challenge, which I did to help raise money for Great Ormond St Children's Hospital and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped the cause by sponsoring me and donating!

If anyone would still like to donate it is not too late as accepting donations will close on Friday 20th Sept.

Thank you very much in helping me achieve this!

Peppi
