Story
In February 2008 my youngest daughter, Lyla, was born with a very rare condition known as sagittal synostosis - a condition which affects the shape of the skull due to premature fusing of the top suture (opening).
At only 5 months of age she underwent cranial surgery.
It was an incredibly difficult time for me and my family, but the team at GOSH were amazing and made it a little easier to bear.
We were very lucky - Lyla's condition was treatable. But whilst at the hospital we met many children who are not so lucky - requiring much more indepth and long term care.
GOSH does amazing things but requires constant donations in order to do so. A good friend of mine who knows all too well what good work they do has set up a team known as Endurance Limits, and I am proud to be running under their banner.
So, in May this year, I will be doing the Rat Race Dirty Weekend - 20 miles and 200 obstacles. Hopefully I will make it!
