Story
Following Lucy's burst Appendix in April 2018 she required emergency surgery to remove the infection. She required a Stoma and a section of her bowel removed to ensure she could recover fully. The support from the Team at the JR during this period was amazing; Lucy spend several days in HDU and with their facilities, equipment and trained staff, Lucy recovered really well. Lucy required a second surgery to reverse the Stoma a couple of months later and our questions, queries and unscheduled visits were never a problem. We are forever grateful for the care and attention provided by Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Porters and other support staff. Please help us raise money to ensure this service continues it's amazing work.
