Belfast Marathon 2015 · 4 May 2015 ·

At Northern Ireland Hospice, we care for more than 4,000 babies, children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, both in Hospice and in the community. We look after every patient's nursing, medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs with support for their family continuing into bereavement.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Too many of us have lost loved ones to cancer.  The NI Hospice is a local charity providing essential care and support to those terminally ill with cancer and their families.

I had decided last August that I would like to attempt to run the Belfast Marathon for NI Hospice.  Little did we know that my mum would then be diagnosed with cancer in September.  Sadly she lost her battle in December.  NI Hospice provided care for our mum as they had also done 2 years previous for my brother-in-law.
