Ken Bowen was not only a great friend but also my running mentor. He introduced me to the very first Great South Run, which we ran together.

Now thirty years later I am running it again  in memory of Ken whose untimely death was earlier this year.  It is not about a time it is about reliving the memories with every step and helping to raise money for a charity that was extremely dear to Ken's heart.

Along the course will be members of his family and other friends  cheering me on.
