Arthritis Care strives for a world where people with arthritis can lead full and active lives by proactively managing their pain and reducing isolation. Our services include high quality information, a free confidential helpline, peer support forums, and face to face services.

Story

Please help us to raise money for Arthritis Care by sponsoring us to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge.  The challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours!  The trek covers 40kms and involves 2,984m of ascent and descent.  The Challenge is as tough mentally as physically and we have been told that we will suffer from sleep deprivation, fatigue and possibly be faced with some nasty weather.

There are around 10 million people with arthritis in the UK.  Arthritis is not just a disease of older people – it can affect people of all ages, including the young. It is not clear what causes arthritis and there is no cure at present.

Arthristis Care helps sufferers with everything from high quality information and support to empowering them to take control of their arthritis, to campaigning for change…

Thanks for your support and wish us luck!!!!

Pete and Kris.
