We provide gifts for children facing cancer to bring a little happiness at a hard time

Story

Dear friends

I'm getting to that age now my old injuries dictate what sports I can still do; luckily there are a few left.

So, together with my cycling buddy Alex, I'm going to do my best, and cycle 66 miles (106km) for Daniel Caplan.

Many of you may not know Daniel Caplan. And until May 2020, I had only heard stories about Daniel from my daughter Mia, who described him as a 'larger than life' character at school.

When Daniel received his devastating diagnosis in 2020, and during the tough months that followed, I was absolutely amazed and totally inspired by Daniels unyielding bravery and immeasurable kind heart. At that most difficult of times, he found so much strength and reminded us all of how to make a difference.

Please join me in helping Daniel look after other kids with cancer, and to give them the best support possible from the Doing it for Daniel Foundation.

Thank you so much! It really makes a difference.

Peter

About the charity

The charity was founded in 2021 in memory of Daniel Caplan. Daniel died from an aggressive DMG brain tumour. There is currently no treatment for this type of tumour. The charity campaigns for greater awareness and funding. We also provide gifts and holidays for children with any cancer diagnosis.
