Story
My name is Pete and I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in May of 2016.
Ironically in March and April last year, I was running pain self-management workshops for people who were cancer survivors and who also lived with life threatening health conditions.
I had no idea one month after finishing the workshops, I would be told I has prostate cancer.
Cancer survivors usually have aggressive treatments to manage their cancer.
For many, the treatment has been able to put their cancer into remission but has left them to live with persistent pain for months and years after.
I want to raise monies, so cancer survivors who have persistent pain can attend educational pain self-management workshops to learn how to manage their pain.
Please sponsor me so St Giles Hospice can help others.
