Dear Peter passed away in 2012 aged 63 from acute Pancreatitis, although he was fit and strong man this illness was too severe for him to battle.

There are about 12000 new cases of Acute Pancreatitis in the UK every year and the number is rising, and almost 1000 will die from this condition.

There are no drugs to treat Pancreatitis; surgery to remove the damaged parts of the pancreas is often the only option. Sadly Peter was too ill for surgery.

Peter was a kind diligent man. I owe this man a debt of gratitude, for raising such a good man to be my husband. I’m proud and thankful to be his daughter-in-law.

 

PLEASE HELP US RAISE MONEY AND FIND NEW TREATMENTS AND A CURE FOR PANCREATITIS SO THAT MORE PEOPLE CAN BE HELPED TO COMBAT THIS DREADFUL CONDITION.

We will be doing a number of fundraising events to try and raise awareness and much needed funds in the hope that a cure can be found.
