2010 Mizuno Liverpool Half Marathon · 28 March 2010 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

I am doing the Liverpool Half Marathon in March to raise funds for NSPCC - a fantastic charity which helps protect disadvantaged children in the Merseyside area as well as nation-wide.

This is my first half-marathon which is a total of 13.1 miles (21 kilometers).

I managed to raise over £600 last year by doing the Mersey Tunnel 10k, so I want to try to get close to that target again.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
