In January 2011, Ernst & Young are pulling together a team of intrepid footballers to go on tour to Gambia to play 3 matches in a 7 day period against numerous individuals involved with Football Gambia across the country, including one match at the Gambian National Stadium. 

Each player attending the tour is to be aligned with a school and a football club/academy which they will be "required to visit" according to the information pack, although I feel it could be more appropriately worded as "will be honoured to visit".  Any money raised will go toward educational material and football equipment which I will personally present to the school and the youth football club. 

As such, I really hope you can all dig deep and sponsor me in pursuit of this fantastic cause.  I personally will be trying to raise funds through different events, of which I'm sure I'll try and rope you in at different times; but anything - no matter how small - you can spare at this time would be greatly appreciated.
