Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page which we have set up in memory of Pete to raise money for the Air Ambulance.

Pete was an unbelievable person who inspired everyone he met, he loved life, lived it to the fullest and knew how to have some serious fun. He shone in the presence of anyone he met, and always made sure something silly, random and fun happened.....

So... in memory of our Pete, on 26th May 2012 a group of us are stilt walking and juggling - possibly in fancy dress.... the 1.8 miles through Bradgate Park... there will be up to 50 of us doing this. If nothing else, it will be a highly comical spectacle!

Thanks so much - Pete's family and friends

If you want to know more about the air ambulance... please look at their justgiving page.... link is on the website

There will be more updates to follow but please give generously... the air ambulance isn't government funded and therefore relies heavily on voluntary contributions... it costs £1500 per call out so our aim is to help pay for at least 2 of these.
