Story
2017 marks the 150th year of business for Peter Brotherhood Ltd (www.peterbrotherhood.com) and throughout the year the company and its employees will take part in several events to raise awareness and fundraise for Children With Cancer.
Peter founded the company (in his own name) in 1867 and his original engineering works was located next to the river Thames (now the site of the London Eye and County Hall hotel). In 1907 he moved the factory to Peterborough following a compulsory purchase of his land by London City Council.
Brotherhoods Bound / Back to Brotherhoods 8 of our employees have taken up the challenge of cycling 150 miles over 2 days. The ride will commence in Chippenham, Wiltshire where our founder ‘Peter Brotherhood’ grew up at his family home, the cyclists will then ride up through the Cotswolds to Towcester (Approx 100 miles) where there will then have a well deserved overnight rest! The following morning they will head back to our facility in Peterborough.
