I am walking across fire to to raise £5000 to help provide clean water for 600 people in Mkunkhu village, Malawi. Adequate and safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) is crucial in reducing the spread of disease and illness, ensuring general wellbeing, as well as impacting poverty reduction and socio-economic development.

3,500 children die every year in Malawi from diarrhoea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
2.4 million people in Malawi do not have access to safe water.
14.3 million people in Malawi do not have access to adequate sanitation.
