Story

The Trust is building a new extension to the Peter Pan children's ward at Hillingdon Hospital.  This will provide a new treatment room, a bespoke space for teenagers and an additional 4 single High Dependency Units (HDU) allowing greater privacy.  The new rooms will be built to modern-day standards and will have space for parents to sleep over.

Dressed as Peter Pan I shall be running the Hillingdon Half Marathon to help raise money and support the costs of the internal fixtures, which will contribute towards enhancing the children's stay.

The HDU rooms will each required a Continue house Positive Airway Pressure machine, which alone cost around £1260.00.  It would be amazing to also make the teenage room into a place where the older patients can feel more relaxed, somewhere they can be comfortable, from interior design and sofas, to games consoles.  All to help make the environment more teenage friendly and stimulating.

Peter Pan Ward provide shared care with Great Ormond Street to treat Oncology patients. Some of these children can be admitted to the ward for long periods of time and new rooms will make it a far more pleasant experience, not just for the children but parents as well.

So Pleeease dig deep, every penny counts and your donations will make a big difference.
