Story

Fundraiser for “Kids Cancer Support Group”

In support of Peyton Flanner undergoing chemotherapy, both her mother and grandmother will shave their heads on February 19th 2022. Kym and Lee are hoping that in doing so we can raise funds for “Kids Cancer Support Group”. (A not for profit group who will help support Peyton throughout her journey)

In October 2021, Peyton Flanner was diagnosed with a brain tumor, just one month before her 5th birthday. She will now undergo both radiotherapy and chemotherapy to beat “this bully” (term we opted to use for the ependymoma tumor)

Your donation will be greatly appreciated and go to a very worthy cause to help support other children and their families who are also going through this horrendous  ordeal and most importantly bring joy to the children on the cancer ward at Perth Children’s Hospital.

Thank you so much for your support! We truly do appreciate it.

Kids Cancer Support Group is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting, supporting and enriching the lives of children diagnosed with cancer and other blood disorders at Perth’s Children’s Hospital. We are a local Perth based charity that is run by parents/caregivers who have experienced Childhood Cancer/Blood Disorders firsthand. We ‘get it’ and understand that everyone’s situation is unique. We provide tailored, practical and peer to peer support that meets the specific needs of the families. Our support is all encompassing. We are inclusive of the whole family starting at diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond.
