In memory of Oscar Hughes

OSCAR's PBTC was set up in memory of Oscar Hughes, a 9-year-old who died of a brain tumour in 2014. His journey was heartbreaking yet inspiring. OSCAR's aims to provide support and care to children with brain tumours, raise awareness to help diagnosis and fund research into better treatments.

Story

Last year my school and the community it is in lost a very brave and special boy who fought hard against a brain tumour. This charity is set up in his memory to increase the funding towards research on how to fight against brain tumours as he did, and help children like him.

On an even more personal note, I lost my mum two years ago also to a brain tumour. She was similarly a brave and special person who fought so hard. As she deteriorated, she was still on the look out for others and always wanted to know how Oscar was doing and to send her love.

Please donate for him, for her and for those children we can help in the future.
