Cycle For Sepsis · 6 September 2015

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Welcome to my JustGiving page.

Jorg and I both survived sepsis. We are cycling Lincoln to London over 2 days, stopping off at hospitals to raise awareness of this life threatening condition.

37000 people die of sepsis every year in the UK.

More people die of sepsis than lung, breast and prostate cancer combined.

All over the country, people will be Cycling for Sepsis either in memory of loved ones, other survivors as well as medical staff. We will be converging onto Westminster where we will meet with all the other teams to lobby Parliament and mark World Sepsis Day in the UK.

Please donate and help us make a difference.
