Bath Half Marathon 2020 · 15 March 2020 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In August 2014 my mum (Marjorie) was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the Bath Rice Centre. It was a big blow to the family as mum was only 73 years old.

In January 2017 my brother and I had to remove mum from her family home, and place her in a Nursing Home run by Cedar Care due to her deterioration !

Today she is well cared for but no longer identifies with her family & friends!

Mum is one of ten's of thousands who suffers with this cruel disease of the brain. ANY monies raised will help the continued research in the fight to find a cure for this terrible condition.

All donations received will mean so much, and help ALL sufferers.

Love Phil
