I am running 156 miles across the Sahara Desert... over 6 days I will run carrying my own equipment, self sufficient and self navigating... It's going to be hot, sandy, dirty, lonely, and painful... 

MY PAIN WILL HOWEVER BE TEMPORARY...  

HOWEVER FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC OR SEXUAL VIOLENCE / ABUSE... THEIR PAIN IS NOT TEMPORARY...

That is why for this challenge I'm asking you to donate to an amazing organisation... Staffordshire Women’s Aid, an organisation that saves lives; is there when no-one else is... starts new lives, brings hope and makes a difference every single day, an organisation that I am immensely proud to able to support and I hope you are too... 

Staffordshire Women’s Aid is an organisation that supports victims of domestic and sexual violence. A women's organisation, which works tirelessly to raise awareness of inequality, and its impact upon our communities.

In its day-to-day work Staffordshire Women’s Aid offers a free and
confidential service providing specialist support for victims of Domestic or Sexual Violence/Abuse.

Staffordshire Women’s Aid staff and volunteers listen, give support and offer choice 24 hours a day… providing a helpline, which is actually a lifeline in many cases, providing safe and secure refuge accommodation for women and children in need… and providing a constant source of  information, advice and guidance , emotional support, counselling adults, children and young persons. 

I am asking for you to donate as much as you can, be it £1 or be it more, because every pound raised will make a huge difference to the lives of those women and children who are effected by domestic or sexual violence / abuse...  your donation will help save lives!!!!!!!
