Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The Cancerkin Walk took place on  Sunday 12 June, on Hampstead Heath. It was the wettest ever! But I walked my 10km with friends with great good cheer. See photo! I am asking you to support Cancerkin who support me and hundreds of other breast cancer patients.

The other day at Cancerkin I spoke with a woman who had just been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 64 – the age I was when mine was diagnosed. I told her that before my mastectomy I had held a little ceremony to say goodbye to my breast, and she laughed! I also told her to come to Cancerkin for wonderful emotional and physical support (and more laughter) from the lovely therapies and exercises and Victoria and her staff and other patients. It is such a brilliant place.

So please do support me. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
