Story
Hi lovelies,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As you will know over the last few years I've completed various challenges to raise money for causes that are important to me and this year is no different. I am now on the charity committee for my employer, the Legal Ombudsman, and have decided to complete a personal challenge to support my work with them further by skydiving to raise money for the charity we're supporting this year, Birmingham Children's Hospital (BCH).
This is something I haven't entered into lightly, as many of you will
know I am not the most relaxed flyer, let alone jumping out the side
of the plane. That said, I am always up for a challenge and am a firm
believer in pushing myself to do something that scares me so will do this.
The charity really is a great one. I've worked closely with them over the last few weeks on other events we're organising, which they've gone out their way to support. As a charity BCH supports every area of the hospital but their latest campaign is the £4 million Children's Cancer Centre Appeal.
Every year, over 240,000 sick children from across the UK are treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Many face incredibly difficult circumstances. Their stories of courage, determination and hope are truly amazing. By supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital you will be making a real difference to the lives of thousands of children and families, when they need it most.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If you could spare some change to make a donation it would be really appreciated by both me and Birmingham Children's Hospital. Please please think of good thoughts about my parachute opening on 6th September!
Thank you so much
Philippa :-) xx
