Hi guys, I am a volunteer for the Cats Protection Giffnock and District Branch and will be running the 10k Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run this year on the 6th October to raise funds on their behalf.

Our Branch is run by a small team of dedicated, unpaid volunteers who work hard in their spare time to care for and find homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the local area.

The Branch is essentially self-sufficient, depending on funds raised locally to care for the cats we rescue.

We recently raised a considerable sum of money for the Thomas appeal. Thomas was born with a deformed back leg which required amputation to save his life. You can follow his story on the link below. Now we need to focus on our other foster cats. We need to raise funds to help pay veterinary bills, buy food and pens, plus lots more!
