CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! 

As part of my employers "Giving Something Back" campaign, I have been one of the lucky few selected to participate in a trek through the Himalayan foothills. 

I will be trekking 67km over five days, in temperatures of 33°C through Hindu settlements and Buddhist monasteries, to raise money for Stroke Association.

Suffering a stroke can change your life in an instant. It is the 4th single largest cause of death in the UK, with someone being affected every 5 minutes. Stroke Association are UK's leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. I want to give my support to those who tirelessly work to help hundreds of thousands of people get through one of the most frightening experiences of their lives and build a life after stroke.

The trek will be my final fundraising challenge but I will be organising lots of events to help raise money before India. 

I will be taking part in my first ever 10k run in April this year as part of my fundraising efforts.Thanks to everyone who has already assisted me on this challenge, but please continue to support me with my next ventures. I will be hosting plenty of bake sales - using my signature chocolate brownies to entice money out of the pockets of my co-workers! I will also be using my love of netball to organise a charity tournament.
