Celebrating the birthday of Phoebe

We support patient and NHS staff wellbeing to improve health care for everyone

Story

We can't believe that our little girl is turning 2 on 20th July.

We have been trying to raise funds for the Childrens Ward at St Mary's Hospital to purchase a vein finder (which they are calling Phoebes Light) to help doctors to find veins in children that need to give blood or have medication given, which will cause less discomfort to the child and avoid them becoming a pincushion.

For Phoebes birthday we would be grateful if you could spare even a few pennies to help us towards the overall target for the vein finder.

We have witnessed how the vein finder would help first hand. Phoebes veins are small and hard for the doctors to find and we can honestly say that it is horrible to see your child be poked and prodded with failed attempts, but you know that they have to in order to get the medication or drip into them.

Thank you for your support.
