We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum was a long time supporter of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, making monthly donations for many years.

Back in October, a week before my mum passed away, she said to me, “Pia, before I die, I want you to take me to Battersea Dogs Home.” To which I immediately replied “well, first of all, you’re not going to die, and secondly, I’m not taking you, because you’ll be too upset and you’ll want to bring all the dogs home with you!”

So it felt only right to honour her memory by supporting this amazing charity.

Also, as a mum of rescue dogs, I know just how important the lifeline of a rescue centre is to the poor animals who find themselves there through no fault of their own.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
