Road Trip 2013 · 3 May 2013

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 4th of October 2012 I was diagnosed with Parkinsons, I had an inkling that it might be that but the news still came as a shock to me, especially so as I have seen the effects to other members of my family. My world changed, and so did I. It is slowly becoming a reality and I am adjusting to the fact. This is due to my very suportive family and friends. I want to help organisations like Parkinsons UK continue to support victims of the illness and to fund research projects so that a cure can be found in the not too distant future.

I am cycling from London to Edinburgh in four days on the 3rd of May to the 6th of May 2013,100 miles per day. This will be hard for me but I promise to do my best. I will pay all the registration other costs myself, which will be over a £1000. So all the donations I recieve will go directly to Parkinsons UK, so please help me raise my target of £1000

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate now, no matter how much, it all helps.
