Over 58,000 people will be diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer every year in the UK. Orchid exists to save lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through a range of support services, pioneering research and promoting awareness.

Story

Welcome to the Pigeon Watch North vs South Charity Shoot 2014 - which will be at Sporting Targets on the 31st May.

This year we are raising money for Orchid Cancer who do fantastic work in raising awareness and funding research into treatments for Male Cancers.

The shoot competition will be 100 birds (Sporting discipline), and is open to people of all abilities. Last year the scores ranged from 22-91, and the total raised for Orchid last year was more than £4,400 with much of it raised on the day.

In the four years so far more than £16,000 has been raised for Charity as a result of the Pigeon Watch Charity Shoot and the outstanding generousity of all Pigeon Watch members with other events, donations and raffles also contributing to the total. This year with the Fifth Pigeon Watch Charity Shoot we hope with your help to break the £20,000 milestone - please help us!!

In addition to contributing to the selected charities, the event has proved to be an extremely popular way of meeting up with fellow PW members, providing a valuable opportunity to put faces to names. Indeed the gatherings the night before often provide the basis for some of the best memories with their resulting tales and anecdotes.
