The Pinsent Masons' team are partaking in the Classic Tough Mudder to raise as much money as possible for Leeds Mencap.

Leeds Mencap

Leeds Mencap is a local and independent charity supporting children with learning disabilities and additional needs in Leeds, along with their families.

They run a specialist playroom, youth groups, playschemes and activity days from their centre in East Leeds. It's here that children and young people aged 0 right up to 25 who have a learning disability can play in a safe environment, have fun, make friends and build important developmental and life skills.

They also help the parents, by giving them the specialist knowledge, skills and support networks they need to be able to care for their whole family. And they help the siblings - by running a siblings group - for these children to get time to themselves and have fun with others who understand.

There are enormous challanges for people with learning disabilities and their families and Leeds Mencap are there to help every step of the way.
