Well all the training paid off and I managed to complete the 13.2 miles yesterday in a respectable time of 02:03:35. I think my right knee is my only leg joint free of pain today but it was totally worth it for a brilliant experience and to raise money for such a good cause.
Thanks to everybody who has sponsored me!!

Nope, this is not a joke page!! I am going to be running the Bath Half in less than 2 weeks.......
After a 10 year break from any form of physical exercise other than the odd snowboarding trip and bobbing around on a lilo I have decided that it's time to get fit. Knowing that I'm not the most self motivated individual, I thought it might be wise to set myself a challenge to keep me going. So I've told lots of people, signed up for a place in the Bath Half and even registered to run for a charity. There's no backing out!
I will be running for Macmillan who provided a huge amount of support and care for both my Grandfathers and my Uncle. The work that they do is incredible and almost all the work that they do is funded by voluntary donations and fundrasing.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.
One in three of us will get cancer.
Two million of us are living with it.
We are all affected by cancer.
We can all help.
