Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why I am doing it.

My younger brother David suffered from multiple sclerosis. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a suitable tribute as it will be a serious challenge,  requiring 8 days,  however it is not much different to the challenge faced by many with MS face each day.

Why this charity.

A few years ago I was outpaced by a young lady swimmer in my local swimming baths. We had a chat and she told me about her family and that she suffered from multiple sclerosis, she said that her swimming and quality of life were helped by therapies that she received at the local multiple sclerosis Therapy Centre, in which she was involved

This small charity, which helps in a practical way, is doing great things for people with multiple sclerosis.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The West of England MS Therapy Centre is part of The Brightwell Partnership. The therapies and support we provide are to help our members maintain independence, minimise their symptoms and to improve general wellbeing. Membership is open to anyone with a neurological condition, such as MS.
