I've been in Bath six years now and failed to make it to the start line of Bath Half every single year (although in fairness the snow in 2018 meant it wasn't entirely my fault), so c'mon 2019 THIS IS MY YEAR!!  

I have chosen to fundraise for Age UK Bath & North East Somerset in part because of the snow this year, it was great to see how my local community rallied round older people to make sure they had food and heating and it made me think how sad it is that that connection is sometimes absent outside of these crises. Age UK give older people opportunities to live healthier lives, build friendships and stay as independent as possible for as long as possible. They also offer information and advice and give practical and emotional support. With your support we can be there for older people in our community whenever they need us.

The message is simple: Live Healthy. Live happy. Live independent.
