My name is Poppy McGhee and I am 14 years old and I play the violin.  I often do a lot of fundraising for different charities, but this time I would like to raise money for the Pro corda Trust, who have supported me over a number of years and I want to give something back.

Pro corda is a Wonderful organisation that provides Chamber Music and ensemble training for both children and adults to enable them to experience the magic of Chamber Music - some for the very first time.  Pro corda also support Individuals with disabilities and special educational needs, and this is an important part of their work. 

This coming October (2019) I have been given the most wonderful opportunity.  I have been selected to go on an amazing Chamber music tour to Florence.  Part of my fundraising is to raise money to allow this to happen.  I am one of approximately 20 young people who are being financially supported by a Pro corda to undertake this tour and I want to give something back to them.

I am trying to raise £2,000 in total, by putting on as many fundraising events as I can in our local community. However, many people have asked if they can contribute by simply donating money, and this why this page is so important.

I only have until the 1st of August to raise this money. Please donate any amount big or small.
