Back in 2015 my (Jemma, but Dad to Damien also) amazingly wonderful, beautiful and courageous Daddy lost his battle with cancer. He stayed within Overgate hospice and passed away there with us all with him on the 5th May 2015. 

The wonderful people who work there not only looked after him, but all of us as a family, something we will never forget. Everyone there treated us all like their own family members and the care Dad received was amazing. It's with that in mind, Damien and I are throwing ourselves down the longest zipwire in Europe, with speeds of up to 100mph. Which, considering Damien is afraid of heights is a pretty big deal!

Any amount that you can spare is gratefully received and put to such good use for the continuation for end of life care for people in Calderdale. It costs £6800 per day to just run the facility and offers an invaluable service.
