Pragya is participating in her very first Triathlon this
year at Birmingham Kids Fun Triathlon on 15^th June 2019 and she
wants to help those less fortunate children in Kolkata by raising fund for
Calcutta Rescue. Doing her first Triathlon at the age of 8 is quite a big
challenge that she has taken on, but the opportunity of bringing smiles on faces of poor children in Kolkata is giving her lot of encouragement and motivation.

We, Pragya's parents are always very eager to serve the city we are originally from and we had been talking about this for long, trying to find the appropriate means to give back to Kolkata. There are lots of areas that the city needs support for improvement and doing something for Kolkata from thousands of miles away seems to be a big challenge. So, when we came to know about Calcutta Rescue, we got very inspired by the good work that the charity is doing for the under-privileged in the city. Getting the opportunity to do something for Kolkata through Calcutta Rescue will be highly gratifying for us.
