We stand with the people of Ukraine and against this illegal horrific war. 

Thousands of civilians had already been killed and injured in eight previous years of armed conflict in Ukraine.

Millions of people in Ukraine are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance, forcing thousands to displace from their homes and splitting families.

Precious has evolved organically since November 2017 into a collective of over 300 art jewellery makers from around the globe. 

What binds all of our members together is our ambiguous relationship to notions of what ‘precious’ is, as well as a very strong sense of community.

It is this community spirit that drew us to create Precious Solidarity. 

Teaming up with Alliages, we have been raising funds for the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund by GlobalGiving. 

All donations to this fund will support humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled. 

GlobalGiving's local partners in Ukraine are bringing relief to displaced families and people in high-risk areas and they need resources to continue and expand their vital work.

HOW WE ARE RAISING FUNDS

Over 140 jewellery artists have been involved!!

Over 200 pieces have been donated!!

More than 80 pieces have been sold!!

As things have finally gone a little quiet we have asked those who have donated work to now reach out through their own social media networks and contacts 

Those who choose to still be involved are either putting any money raised into our charity pot (this Just Giving page will remain active) or they will choose their own charity to donate any sales to. 

We will share any fundraising posts that our amazing makers create on to our instagram page so as to try to raise even more money for those who are desperately in need to help...

That’s the best part…you don’t HAVE to buy anything! 

If you wish to donate without receiving anything other than the wonderful feeling of helping others in need, you CAN just donate!

Your donation to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund will provide food, shelter & clean water, access to education, health & psychosocial support and so much more to the impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions.
