Pritty Pampapathi is raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer
Bupa Great South Run 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·
Dearest Friends & Family,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
On Sunday 25th October, I will be taking part in the Great South Run and running 10 miles in order to raise money for Clic Sargent, which is a wonderful charity that cares for Children with Cancer. Consider this…….. Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. From that day on they will be facing daily stresses and challenges that you or I can only imagine. As the UK's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support including during treatment, in hospital, at home and after treatment has finished. Running these 10 miles/ 16 kilometres will be a great challenge for me, as due to my particularly demanding work, home and child-care routine, I have only just started a training regime!!! ….Help!! Please support me in trying to raise money to help children with cancer, by digging deep and donating now as I only have 4 weeks to go! Thank you so very much for your generous support. Big Love and Sun-beams to you all, xxx Pritty xxx (Prithee/ Pritheeva/ Prithee-Akka/ Prithee-Akki/ Mrs. Pampapathi/ Shana & Elina’s mum/ whatever else you know me as!!!)PS. I am also raising money for the National Children’s Orchestra, to fund talented children who have not got funding. The National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain provides musically-talented children aged 7 - 14 with the training and opportunity to play together in full symphony orchestras. Talent, musicality and excellence at audition are the sole criteria for entry; no talented child is ever denied a place for lack of funds – hence the need to raise money to accommodate them.
