In Memory of Amit Patel - Leukaemia Care

Mohid Khan is raising money for Leukaemia Care
In memory of Amit Patel
Leukaemia Care provides vital support, information and advice to anyone whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. We not only support patients, but carers and families too whose lives are impacted when someone they know and loves receives a diagnosis.

Story

Professor Amit Patel tragically passed away in October 2021 at the age of 43, leaving his wife, Shivani, and 2 young daughters.

Devoted to medicine and his patients, he was academically exceptional, an accomplished and passionate haematologist/ haematology-oncologist. Changing patient lives, he pushed the boundaries of research in haematological malignancies (blood cancers) in London, Liverpool and latterly at the Christie Hospital in Manchester.

This page has been set up to raise money for Leukaemia Care, the blood cancer charity which was close to his heart.
