Story

This year’s Annual Meeting of our Province cannot take place at Freemasons’ Hall due to the Coronavirus epidemic. So instead, London Brethren are being invited to attend a Virtual Meeting, a live streaming - courtesy of the Zoom platform.

At our Annual Meetings it is our usual practice to appeal to the charity of every Brother present and ask them to donate through Gift Aid Envelopes (GAE), which have become such a recognisable aspect of so many of our Masonic meetings.

As we cannot congregate physically this year to complete the envelopes and fill them with cash donations, I am encouraging everyone to go Online and use this Just Giving Page to make their donation.

The London Mark Benevolent Fund exists to help London Mark Brethren in distress and to support London Charities. In the current emergency situation that assistance has never been more important. I therefore make this most earnest Appeal to you all – Please be as generous as possible – ever remembering that for those who are tax payers, your donation will be augmented by a further contribution made by the Government.

THANK YOU.

About the charity

The Mark Province of London Benevolent Fund operates a two pronged approach. Firstly, the fund provides emergency financial assistance to its members, members’ widows and dependants. Secondly, the fund makes single payment grants to other Masonic Bodies, Charities and other worthy causes.
