Fundraising for Kidney Research · 21 October 2019

We are the largest charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Treatments are gruelling, relentless. There is no cure. We say this isn't good enough. We will transform kidney health. Kidney disease ends here.

Story

This charity is one of which has had personal significance to us since April 2019, when Mark was suddenly diagnosed with end stage kidney disease and 12% kidney function. This slowly declined to 8% and in October '19 Mark started peritoneal dialysis for 8 hrs every night. We are incredibly thankful that Mark will be able to recieve a kidney from a family member, Amy. However, this is not a cure and Mark will need another transplant in later life. Knowing that this is something that will impact our lives forever, we are seeing what we can do as a family to raise awareness and funds for Kidney Research UK. Follow us on Instagram @kidneyandme to see our journey and pictures from our events.

**Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the 'Cake and Coffee Morning' and raffle on Saturday 28th March has been postponed. Any raffle tickets bought already will be honoured for our rescheduled date which is to be confirmed.**

Please donate however big or small. Your donation to our cause/Kidney Research UK will help to end kidney disease and give hope to people like Mark.

Thank you. From the Prydderch's 💜
