This is a project which was commenced and is being implemented by Shraddha TV, Sri Lanka Civil Security Department (CSD) and the Department of Chemistry - University of Kelaniya to save people from rapidly increasing dreadful kidney disease known as CKDu.

It has experimentally been proved that the cause for this kidney disease is consumption of polluted hard water.

Under this project we plan to establish a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Purification Plant for consumption of the people in one of the disease prevalent areas - Nelawagama.

71 RO water purification plants have been established so far (March, 2021), which has donated more than 75 million litres of pure water.
