London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
I ran the 2019 London Marathon on April the 28th and then next sunday, the Amsterdam Marathon on the 20th October to raise vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK. My dad passed away on the 28th August this year aged 93. Having lived with Prostate Cancer for over 8 years, the treatment he received gave him and us this extra time to spend with him, and we are truly grateful to the work done by this wonderful charity. All of the funds raised will go directly to support the campaign to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life through providing vital information, funding research into causes and treatments and leading change by raising the profile of the disease and improving care. My personal target is to reach £1500 but also to run my first ever 3.30 marathon. So please don't just spare a thought during the cold winter months, but please could you spare some change and put a few quid on my justgiving page - it will make it all worth the hardship. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
