Story
Over the past few months Quinn has found it increasingly hard seeing the homeless man who asks for money at our local Tesco. It started to affect him so much that he found it hard to do gratitude activities at school and worried about it a lot - thinking about everything he has just made him feel sad about the people who have nothing.
To help him feel more empowered, we suggested he challenged himself to do something really hard to raise money for a homeless charity - that way he could really feel he is making a difference. Quinn decided he wanted to climb the three highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland along with Dan - Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis. In total he will climb nearly 3500 metres - something even adults would find challenging let alone an 8 year old!
We are raising money for Simon Community Scotland - a local charity who work to combat the causes and effects of homelessness.
