Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The annual JDRF walk to cure Diabetes will be organised at the Hazelhead Park, Aberdeen, on Sunday, 4th September 2011.
I understand you all are heading towards the end of a long season of contributing towards various charities!
As a family we continue to participate in the annual walk for a cause that strives to make better the lives of millions of children who are deprived of a normal life due to the disease. This will be the fifth consecutive year we shall participate in the walk to cure juvenile diabetes and will mark as many years of our life in the UK!
Following the success of the 5k run in 2010, this year there is a choice of a 5k Sunday stroll for families with push chairs and wheelchairs; a 7k Ramble for those fancying a bit more of a Walk or the challenging timed '10k' Cross Country run. For those of you who find the walk too easy can warm up with a run! The Walk promises a fun packed day out for families and individuals with a joyful carnival atmosphere.
We would be glad to have you in our team on the day, but if you are busy, we would gladly represent you during the walk.
Over the years, thanks to your generous support and BP's matching fund, the amount we have raised has steadily increased from £360/- to £590/ to £840/- last year!
So this year too we would whole heartedly appreciate whatever donation you can make for the cause. My target is £500/- to hit the £1000/- mark!

So please dig deep and donate now.
With many thanks & warm regards!
