Rickmansworth and Chorleywood are 'Walking' to Gibraltar

Caroline Pearce is raising money for St John Ambulance

'Walking' to Gibraltar · 31 May 2020

During the COVID-19 outbreak, St John is actively supporting ambulance services, hospitals and communities to protect life and health through this worrying and uncertain period.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our volunteers are working hard during this health emergency, responding to needs in so many ways - crewing ambulances to answer 999 calls, running control centres to co-ordinate vehicles, getting PPE where it is needed, volunteering to work in the Nightingale Hospital, helping in their communities with care at home, shopping, talking and listening, making PPE equipment ... the list goes on.

St. John Ambulance saves lives every day, but as we face these extraordinary demands our resources are stretched like never before - and we need your help.

All our members, aged from 7 to 80, are going to complete a virtual walk to our SJA colleagues in Gibraltar. We will all undertake a walk each day and will add all our miles together until we have walked 1,093 miles and are 'in Gibraltar' by 31st May.

We are doing this because we care about our organisation and we care about you, please sponsor us so we can continue our vital work.
