Paint the Indoor Arena · 2 October 2019

Glasgow RDA have been delivering equine therapy to people with disabilities across Greater Glasgow for over 50 years. Over 100 trained volunteers and 18 qualified coaches deliver and support this therapeutic activity and ensure riders can learn in a pleasant and safe purpose built environment.

Story

The indoor arena was built in the mid 1980's and over the years it has started to show its age. We received funding to replace the arena boards and improve the lighting however we do not have sufficient funds to paint the kicking boards.

We have over 250 children and adults with disabilities riding at our centre and with the winter drawing closer we will now have most of our riding and therapy sessions in the indoor arena.

We would not only ask that you contribute to the cost of painting the arena but also to choose the colour, we have selected 3 colours, light terracotta, light blue/grey and light green, if you have a preference as to which colour please pop it in the comments box.

Thank you for supporting the Riding for the Disabled
