I'm running the London Marathon in memory of my dear friend Claire.

Claire was taken far too soon and is very sorely missed by us all.  She loved the London Marathon and was excited when I was granted a place. With your support I'm hoping to do her proud, as well as raise some money for a charity that she felt very passionate about.

Sarcoma UK is the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma which is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat and is common in children and young people.  The charity conducts vital and much needed research to improve available treatments. 

Your donation will also help raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice. I know that Sarcoma UK were an invaluable source of support for Claire and those nearest to her.
