Hello everybody!  Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. Those of you who know me personally are no doubt thinking I've gone totally round the bend by signing up to do a run - and I agree, it's certainly something a bit different for me!

The Race for Life is a women-only run (or possibly crawl, in my case) to raise money for Cancer Research.  One in three of us will be affected by cancer at some point in our life, and those of you who read my/Charlie's blog (http://charlieturner.blogspot.com) will already know we recently heard that my dad is one of those people.

So, I'm primarily doing this race for my dad - because I love him, and, if nothing else, the thought of his seriously unfit daughter running a race will give him a good laugh!  But I also want to raise some money for the people who are trying to find new and better ways to stop cancer in its tracks.
